Bath Bomb Safety & Instructions
If your child has taken home a foaming bath bomb, please read this section before use.
🌿 About our bath bombs
Our bath bombs are handmade by the children during our supervised party and workshop activities.
We use cosmetic-grade ingredients and source them from reputable, established UK cosmetic suppliers who meet safety and quality standards.
Where stated, we also use certified organic essential oils.
Even with gentle ingredients, some children may still experience sensitivity or irritation — every skin type is different.
👩👦 Adult supervision
A responsible adult must supervise at all times:
while preparing the bath
while the bath bomb is being used
while the child is in the bath
🩹 Patch test (strongly advised)
To reduce the risk of irritation:
Break off a tiny piece of the bath bomb
Dissolve it in a little warm water
Dab onto your child’s forearm
Wait 24 hours
If redness, itching, or irritation appears — do not use the bath bomb and rinse the skin with clean water.
💧 Preparing the bath
Use warm water, not hot
Check the temperature using your elbow
Fill the bath to a safe level
Keep children seated securely in the bath
🫧 Using the bath bomb
Prepare the bath first
Gently place the bath bomb into the water
Allow it to fizz and dissolve completely
Once dissolved, your child may enter the bath — with adult supervision
⚠️ Possible skin sensitivity
Although ingredients are chosen with care, irritation can occasionally happen.
If irritation occurs:
remove the child from the bath
rinse the skin with clean water
discontinue use
seek medical advice if needed
🚫 Important safety notes
Not edible — do not eat or swallow
Avoid contact with eyes and broken skin
If it gets into the eyes, rinse gently with clean water

On Rare occasions
Dear Parents
On very rare occasions, bath bomb/ bath sherbet may leave a slight ring around the bath.
To avoid this happening always ensure the bath is completely clean before dropping the bath bomb into the water another tip is add bubble bath before placing the bath bomb into the water.
A stain around the bath usually happens if the bath is not completely clean and has a build-up of soap and hair products etc. This creates a barrier on your bathtub that colorants and dirt may cling to.
By only bathing in a clean tub, the chances of stains occurring are much slimmer.
Always wash the bath out as soon as the water has drained out.
If you accidentally forget to wash out the tub and the residue isn’t wiping away, don’t panic white vinegar, isopropyl (rubbing alcohol) should get rid of it, or use a little bit of bleach on a cloth.
Feel free to contact Luvlybubbly if you have any questions or concerns.
